Late mail: Titans bolstered by X-factor returns for Cowboys derby
The Titans will be bolstered by the return of dynamic duo Alofiana Khan-Pereira and David Fifita as they eye to break their North Queensland drought against the Cowboys on Saturday afternoon.
Gold Coast have only won one of their past 13 games in Townsville - that being in 2021 with a dominant scoreline - but it has been a tough venue for the visitors otherwise, having lost their past three matches at Queensland Country Bank Stadium.
The Titans will remain unchanged with Khan-Pereira and Fifita's inclusions; also welcoming back Brock Gray from suspension after missing last week due to a high tackle.
The side will wear a special Anzac Round jersey honouring the legacy of former Titans member Corporal Cameron Baird VC, MG; whilst also recognising the contributions of Royal Australian Navy veteran Sue White and Royal Australian Air Force officer Matilda Busby - the pair representing the role women play in the defence force.
They'll be led out by long-time Titans strapper and gear steward Darrell Madge who is a Vietnam veteran, and will also play for the Corporal Cameron Baird VC, MG memorial trophy, which is awarded to the Titans player who best epitomises his values and motto 'Aspire to Inspire' across the Anzac Round clash.
Kick-off is at 5.30pm; live on Fox League and Kayo Sports.
