Moeaki Fotuaika will inch closer and closer to an incredible milestone when he runs out for his 150th NRL appearance against the Knights on Friday night.

One of two Gold Coast stars to celebrate accolades in Newcastle - joining Tino Fa'asuamaleaui for his century - the clash will also see Fotuaika move to third in the tally of most capped players, passing legend Luke Bailey who finished his illustrious career on 150 games with the club.

Th 25-year-old is also set to pass Will Zillman later this season, who made 156 showings for the Titans; closing in on foundation player Mark Minichiello who is the current record holder with 173.

The milestone match sees no changes 24 hours out, with Tony Francis and Jacob Alick-Wiencke remaining part of the extended squad - Tukimihia Simpkins, Allan Fitzgibbon and Sean Mullany cut from the reserves with the trio set to line-up in the Hostplus Cup this weekend.
