NRL 2025: Titans, Locked in: Kelly ruled out, flyer joins outside backs in Canberra

Brian Kelly will miss the Titans' trip to Canberra to face the Raiders after failing to overcome a shoulder complaint.

The miracle man who helped Gold Coast to golden point in last year's clash in the nation's capital was hoping to prove his fitness at Friday's main session but failed to do so, opening the door for young gun Tony Francis to join the outside backs for the Sunday afternoon showdown.

In the only change made ahead of game day, Kelly joins Sean Mullany and Harley Smith-Shields as the three players cut from the extended squad - the latter duo set for Hostplus Cup duties back in Queensland this weekend.

Kieran Foran is good to go in his return from biceps surgery, having been sidelined since the pre-season trial against the Dolphins, eager to make his first Telstra Premiership appearance of the season in the No. 14 jersey.

Kick-off is at 4.05pm on Sunday at GIO Stadium, Canberra.
