Locked in: Injury forces spine shuffle for Storm showdown
The Titans will be without two of their spine stars for Saturday's Storm showdown after Jaylan De Groot and AJ Brimson were ruled out due to injury.
Brimson suffered a head knock at training on Thursday, forcing the versatile playmaker out of Gold Coast's return home since Round 7; meanwhile, De Groot will also miss the clash due to a minor hamstring strain.
Kieran Foran has been elevated to the starting side to join young gun Tom Weaver, who will play his fourth game of the season alongside the 304-game veteran.
Iszac Fa'asuamaleaui joins the bench from the reserves with the remainder of the side as per program - all three Origin representatives set to back-up from Wednesday's series opener at Suncorp Stadium - coach Des Hasler confirming the trio will line-up against Melbourne.
Celebrating all things junior rugby league this weekend, try-scoring machine Alofiana Khan-Pereira's will also notch up his 50th NRL appearance in the clash.
Kick-off is at 3pm on Saturday at Cbus Super Stadium, Gold Coast.
