NRL 2025: Titans, Round 14 team: Suncorp specialist ready for Saturday night showdown

Suncorp Stadium specialist Tom Weaver is set to take on playmaking duties once again - no stranger to steering Gold Coast to victory against the Broncos in the highly-anticipated Macca's Local Derby.

The 22-year-old played a pivotal role in last year's grudge match at the Cauldron, leading his Titans team to a memorable 36-34 victory with the No. 7 on his back and now eyes history to repeat itself as the visitors chase their fourth consecutive victory against Brisbane.

Weaver joins Kieran Foran in the halves with Jayden Campbell at fullback; meanwhile, AJ Brimson has been named on the extended bench after sustaining a head knock at training last week - the club currently working with the NRL on his availability for this weekend's clash.

In further injury replacements; Sean Mullany has been named to start at hooker with Sam Verrills missing the next three weeks due to a broken hand; whilst Phil Sami moves to centre and Allan Fitzgibbon coming onto the wing to replace Jojo Fifita who has also suffered the same injury.

Titans coach Des Hasler has also switched up his bench with Jaimin Jolliffe back on the pine after starting against the Storm, and Arama Hau replacing Iszac Fa'asuamaleaui.

Kick-off is at 7.35pm Saturday at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane.
