Late mail: Titans unchanged as Friday night footy returns to Cbus
The Titans will remain as per program for their clash against the Sea Eagles after Sam Verrills was passed fit to return to the starting side.
Overcoming a hand injury picked up against the Storm a fortnight ago, the 93-game hooker is a welcomed addition for Des Hasler's side who will be missing Origin duo Tino Fa'asuamaleaui and Moeaki Fotuaika as well as a raft of regular stars including Keano Kini, Jojo Fifita and David Fifita who are also currently sidelined.
The first prime-time Friday night game at Cbus Super Stadium since 2021, the occasion will also be special for hard-running forward Josh Patston who makes his NRL debut, named on the bench alongside Tukimihia Simpkins who will play in his maiden Titans game after five appearances for the Wests Tigers in 2021.
Kick-off is at 8pm; live on Channel 9, 9Now, Fox League and Kayo Sports.
