Trial team: New faces headline Breayley-Nati - Hoepper trial clash against Cowboys

The Titans will welcome several of their fresh faces when they host the Cowboys in the annual pre-season Brittany Breayley-Nati - Jenni-Sue Hoepper shield on Saturday.

The clash will see nine uncapped players don Gold Coast colours for the first time in a bid to impress coach Karyn Murphy; headlined by new recruits Pauline Piliae-Rasabale, Natasha Penitani, Jasmine Fogavini and Megan Pakulis.

In a new-look side missing Evania Isaako and Shannon Mato due to their pregnancies, young guns Ivana Lolesio and Destiny Mino-Sinapati will return after sustaining season-ending injuries last season, while two elite pathways prospects will also get their first taste of NRLW from the bench.

Murphy has opted to rest Lauren Brown after her strong Origin campaign; whilst Sarina Masaga, Laikha Clarke, Lily Kolc and Niall Williams-Guthrie continue to rehab pre-season injuries.

Queensland Under 19 duo Takoda Thompson and Phoenix-Raine Hippi also won't play after featuring in Thursday's interstate clash on the Sunshine Coast.

Kick-off is at 3pm on Saturday at Piggabeen Sports Complex, Tweed Heads.
