NRLW 2025: Titans, Round 1 team: Lolesio, Jackson among five new names to make Titans debut

Five fresh faces will etch their name into Gold Coast's history books when the Titans face the Cowboys in Saturday's NRLW season opener in Townsville.

Among the new players being added to the club's honour roll is 22-year-old flyer Kayla Jackson, who has been jettisoned into Karyn Murphy's squad following an outside back injury crisis - rewarded for her stellar start to the BMD Premiership with the Western Clydesdales.

Ivana Lolesio will also make her NRLW debut after a devastating knee injury ruled her out of last year's season; whilst Natasha Penitani, Pauline Piliae-Rasabale and Jasmine Solia (née Fogavini) prepare for their first appearance with the Titans after joining the Coast over the off-season.

Maroons star Lauren Brown returns to the halves alongside Taliah Fuimaono after being rested for the recent pre-season trial; meanwhile, Jaime Chapman will take on fullback duties to replace Evania Isaako (née Pelite) - the regular No. 1 missing the entirety of this season alongside Shannon Mato due to their pregnancies.

Kick-off is at 5.15pm on Saturday at Queensland Country Bank Stadium, Townsville.
