Late mail: Chapman ruled out, talented teen called up for debut
Queensland Under 19 star Takoda Thompson is a late call-up to make her NRLW debut with Jaime Chapman ruled out of Sunday's Macca's Local Derby due to hamstring tightness.
The Origin star's absence has forced a reshuffle with fellow debutant Lily Patston moving to fullback and Jasmine Solia shifting from the bench to the wing, opening the door for the 18-year-old to join the interchange as a versatile edge forward.
Canadian Ravens captain Megan Pakulis will also etch her name onto Gold Coast's honour role via the pine in her first NRLW game; with the remainder of the side remaining as per program for the highly-anticipated battle against the Broncos.
