On the weekend, the Gold Coast Titans and The Lottery Office were proud to stand behind two impactful organisations as the club took on the New Zealand Warriors in the NRL and NRLW.
The Lottery Office supported Top Blokes Foundation and Assistance Dogs Australia, by donating their jersey sponsorship positions during the NRL and NRLW away victories on Saturday.
BID ON THE AUCTION NOW. CLOSES 7PM THURSDAY, 31 JULY
- The NRL team featured Top Blokes Foundation on the front of their jersey.
- The NRLW team highlighted Assistance Dogs Australia on the lower back of the jersey.
These are exclusive one-off jerseys created for this special imitative and are available via auction, with all profits supporting these important causes.
The NRLW side opened the day with a 20-10 victory to record back to back wins, while the NRL side held off a New Zealand Warriors side that currently sits 4th on the table to record a 24-16 victory.
Early bidding shows the ever-popular Jaime Chapman's jersey in the NRLW garnering early interest, while in the NRL it is the retiring Kieran Foran who is proving a fan favourite at this stage.
Many Titans fans will be familiar with the work of Top Blokes through the man who will captain the NRL side this weekend, Kieran Foran.
Now as a Top Blokes ambassador, the 311-game veteran said he was hoping the weekend's initiative will encourage more young men to speak up and be their true, authentic selves.
"Top Blokes is a charity that is very close to my heart following Logan's passing and I know how tough life can get sometimes as a young man growing up," Foran said.
"I've had plenty of ups and my own mental health challenges I've had to overcome across my career, but having the courage to speak up and have the right support around me helped shape me to become the person I am today.
"It's an incredible opportunity for Top Blokes to be front and centre on the Titans jersey this weekend and hopefully it not only shines a light on the work Top Blokes is doing with their programs to empower boys and young men but encourages more people to speak up and know they’re not alone."
