NRL 2025: Titans, Round 22 team: Verrills returns for Cbus homecoming against four-time premiers

Titans hooker Sam Verrills will return for Saturday's clash against the Panthers at Cbus Super Stadium.

Missing the trip to New Zealand due to the birth of his first child, the experienced rake's inclusion is one of two forced changes after Gold Coast defeated the Warriors 24-16 at the weekend; regaining No. 9 duties with Chris Randall sidelined due to concussion.

Tom Weaver also joins the 17 in place of Sean Mullany who has accepted the early plea for a Grade 2 Dangerous Contact charge from the weekend's game, with the remainder of the side unchanged for Gold Coast's return home after a fortnight on the road.

The challenge against the four-time premiers will be Jaimin Jolliffe's 100th NRL appearance, making his debut for the Titans in Round 1, 2020.

Supported by NFL Australia for the third year, Gold Coast will also incorporate the pageantry and excitement of United States sports into this weekend's game day, including a hot dog eating contest, t-shirt cannon and much more throughout the afternoon.

Kick-off is at 3pm on Saturday at Cbus Super Stadium, Gold Coast.
