Round 23 team: Indigenous flyer returns for special Sunday showdown against Rabbitohs
Indigenous flyer Alofiana Khan-Pereira will return for the Titans' clash against the Rabbitohs on Sunday afternoon at Cbus Super Stadium.
Coming in to replace Phil Sami who has been sidelined after undergoing two head injury assessments at the weekend, the proud Bundjalang man is one of two changes for Des Hasler ahead of Sunday's showdown hosting South Sydney.
Chris Randall also returns from his 11-day stand-down after failing his HIA in New Zealand a fortnight ago, coming straight back into the starting side on the edge, which shifts Jacob Alick-Wiencke to the bench.
The remainder of the side remains unchanged with Sam Verrills to celebrate his 100th NRL game after joining the Titans from the Roosters in 2023.
The first Indigenous Round at home since 2021, the side will join alongside the club's NRLW team in wearing a specially-designed jersey by local artist Christine Slabb showcasing the key themes of connection, community and belonging.
Kick-off is at 2pm on Sunday - the second of two games at Cbus Super Stadium, Gold Coast.
