Schoolgirls stars, BMD Premiership powerhouse join Titans development squad for '26

Gold Coast's NRLW future is bright with Karyn Murphy locking in three young stars as part of her development squad for 2026.

Fresh from winning the BMD Premiership, multi-code athlete Enah Desic will call the Coast home for the next two seasons after a whirlwind season of success.

Also pivotal in the Brisbane Tigers' triumph in QRL's Harvey Norman Under 17 Premiership earlier this year as captain, the talented teen also represented Queensland at the ASSRL National Championships and Montenegro in the European Women’s Rugby 7s Tournament in Andorra.

Desic isn't the only playmaker joining the Titans' ranks with Australian Schoolgirls halfback Torah Luadaka graduating from the club's NRLW academy next year.

Knocking back lucrative offers from several other clubs to stay home and remain on the Gold Coast, the talented No. 7 steered Keebra Park to the recent Titans Schoolgirl Cup final, having also honed her craft with the Tweed Seagulls.

The duo will be joined by powerful prop Te Ngaroahiahi Fanua Awhina Rimoni who moves down the M1 from the Norths Devils, dominating in her 12 games of BMD Premiership.

Starting in every appearance and playing big minutes, Rimoni averaged 144 running metres and 24 tackles over 61 minutes per game; now getting the chance to learn from the likes of experienced representative middle forwards Jessika Elliston and Georgia Hale.

Murphy is excited to welcome the three young guns.

"It's always important to have an eye on the future and I'm pleased to have all three players join our development squad next season," the Titans coach said.

"They have all impressed across their respective lower grades and their effort, hard work and determination has earned them the chance to be part of our elite program next year.

"It will be a fantastic opportunity to learn from the quality of players we have in our Titans squad and I'm looking forward to welcoming them in 2026."
