Titans Together honoured as beneficiary for upcoming EMF gala dinner

The Gold Coast Titans have a received a major off-season boost with  the news its charitable community arm Titans Together will be the official beneficiary of the annual EMF gala dinner being held on Saturday, November 1.

Announced at EMF's flagship performance and recovery centre in Nerang on Friday, the black-tie event will bring together local businesses, athletes and community leaders to celebrate fitness, wellbeing and giving back - with all proceeds from the evening to support initiatives that empower young people and strengthen the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers communities.

In 2025, the support received by Titans Together has helped almost 2,500 students across 140 teams from 38 schools play in the Kinetic Titans Schools League - making it Australia’s largest regional school-based rugby league competition.

The club's ever-successful Leagueability inclusive rugby league program has seen further growth to now include over 90 participants, and through the introduction of Pathway to Play, resulted in competitive games against fellow NRL clubs Cowboys and Warriors last month.

Also through the support of Titans Together, more than one million dollars has been raised to aid Joseph Pouniu's recovery, which has now seen him begin work at the club as a football analyst after his life-changing spinal injury in 2023.

The club is equally proud of its successful Deadly Futures program delivered by Titans ambassador and life member Preston Campbell OAM, which guides Indigenous secondary school students on a pathway to a greater understanding and sense of their Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island heritage, encouraging them to grow as leaders of their communities.

Titans chair Dennis Watt says he is humbled by the support from EMF to continue growing Titans Together.

"Community has always been at the heart of this club," he said.

"Anyone who has been part of one of the many Titans Together programs that support inclusiveness, participation, belonging and cultural engagement would attest they are not just among the best in the NRL, but world-class.

"EMF have always been great supporters of health, wellbeing and community - values that align perfectly with what Titans Together is all about and we are incredibly grateful to be chosen as the beneficiary of this year's gala.

"Every dollar raised will go directly into our programs that aim to create a better life for the people of our community, driving change through the power of positive action."

EMF director Scott Freeman said supporting Titans Together was a natural fit.

"At EMF, we always want to give back to the community that supports us and through our premier partnership with the Gold Coast Titans, this is a fantastic way we can do that," he said.

"The work the Titans do in the community with their Titans Together programs are truly inspiring and changes lives, so we're thrilled to help raise funds that will keep those programs thriving.

"I encourage everyone to attend and enjoy a great evening at our EMF gala dinner and help continue growing the programs that have such a strong and meaningful impact across our community."

The EMF gala dinner will be held on Saturday, November 1 and includes a three-course dinner, premium drinks package, live charity auctions, show-stopping entertainment, inspiring life-changing stories and a luxury car giveaway.
