The Gold Coast Titans can confirm that veteran playmaker Kieran Foran will conclude his time with the club and return to Sydney.
While the club and Foran had aspirations to work together beyond the 2025 season, the pull of family ties has led to a decision the club fully supports.
Foran’s tenure on the Coast has been defined by extraordinary leadership, professionalism, and commitment to the Titans’ values.
Since joining the club, he has played a pivotal role both on and off the field.
His final NRL appearance came in an emotional Round 27 farewell match, where the Titans secured a memorable victory over the Wests Tigers, with the veteran playmaker helping orchestrate a second-half comeback.
Beyond his on-field contributions, Foran has made a lasting impact in the community - particularly through his advocacy for mental health.
His efforts were recently recognised with the prestigious Ken Stephen Medal, celebrating his dedication to making a difference off the field.
Foran is currently representing the New Zealand Kiwis in his final games of professional rugby league as part of the Pacific Championships, closing out a distinguished international career.
Titans CEO Steve Mitchell paid tribute to Foran’s legacy at the club.
“We are incredibly grateful to Kieran for everything he has contributed to the Titans. His leadership, values and professionalism have left a lasting impact,” Mitchell said.
“More importantly, we thank Kieran for showing us what humility, resilience, aspiration and belief truly look like.
“Kieran will forever be a part of the Titans family and will always hold a special place here on the Coast.
“While we would have loved to have kept him a part of the club, we wish Kieran and his family all the very best as they begin this next chapter of their lives, with our full blessing.”
Foran reflected on his time with the Titans with great appreciation for the club and community.
“My time on the Gold Coast has been incredibly special,” Foran said.
“The club welcomed me with open arms, and I’ve felt a deep connection to the team, the fans and the community.
“I’m proud of my time with the Titans and grateful for the opportunity to contribute both on the field and in the community.
“While this move is important for myself and my family, I’ll always carry the Titans with me and be proud of my contribution to a place that will forever feel like home.”
The Gold Coast Titans thank Kieran Foran for his outstanding service and wish him and his family all the best as he takes on a new opportunity with the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles.
The Titans will release a three-part documentary in the coming weeks covering the final chapter of Foran’s storied career.
