Titans secure emerging talents Liu and Faeamani

The Gold Coast Titans have bolstered their playing roster with the signings of two promising young talents, Siale Faeamani and Jett Liu, as part of the club’s long-term development strategy.

Siale Faeamani, a dynamic outside back from Penrith, has signed a development list contract with the Titans for the 2026 and 2027 seasons.

Known for his strong carries and professional approach to training, Faeamanui has impressed the club with his commitment and drive to progress within the NRL system.

Titans head coach Josh Hannay praised the young back’s attitude and potential.

“Siale is a player who caught our eye with the way he approaches his football,” he said.

“He’s got a strong carry and a great work ethic, and we love the characteristics he brings to the club.

“He’s hungry to develop and take the next step in his NRL journey, and we’re excited to help him grow over the next couple of seasons.”

Joining him is Jett Liu, a powerful middle forward who has signed a development contract for 2026 and will move into the club’s Top 30 squad in 2027.

Liu, who played in the NSW Cup Grand Final this year, alongside recent signing Lachlan Ilias, brings size, mobility, and a readiness to transition into a full-time NRL environment following his time with the Dragons.

Hannay spoke highly of Liu’s ascension and physicality.

“Jett is a big, mobile forward who’s ready to break into the full-time system,” he said.

“He’s had a strong year and shown he can compete at a high level and we believe he’ll thrive in our program as he continues to develop.”

Liu and Faeamani join the recent announcements from the club who will begin pre-season training next week.
