The Gold Coast Titans are pleased to announce the signing of halfback Lachlan Ilias on a two-year contract, securing his services for the 2026 and 2027 NRL seasons.
Ilias, 25, joins the Titans with 60 NRL appearances to his name, including stints with the South Sydney Rabbitohs (2021–2024) and St George Illawarra Dragons (2025)
After making his NRL debut in 2021, Ilias quickly established himself as a reliable NRL playmaker, resulting in three appearances at 2022 Rugby League World Cup for Greece.
Titans head coach Josh Hannay welcomed the signing, highlighting Ilias’ professionalism and ability to guide a team around the park.
“Lachlan is a smart, composed halfback who’s shown he can perform at the top level,” Hannay said.
“He’s got a strong kicking game, good defensive instincts, and he’ll add real depth and competition to our halves.”
“We’re building a squad for 2026 that are hungry and Lachlan fits that mould perfectly.
“He’s got unfinished business in the NRL, and we’re excited to have him take the next step in his career here on the Gold Coast.”
Ilias’ arrival complements the recent promotion of promising local junior, and fellow playmaker, Zane Harrison to the Titans top 30 squad.
The Titans look forward to welcoming Lachlan to the Gold Coast ahead of pre-season training in November.
