The Gold Coast Titans are proud to announce the premiere of FORAN, a new three-part documentary series chronicling the extraordinary career of Kieran Foran.

Episode one airs 6PM (AEST) this Sunday, 16 November, with new episodes dropping on consecutive Sundays.

FORAN offers an unprecedented look into the highs and lows of one of rugby league’s most compelling figures.
Through candid interviews with Kieran himself, his family, teammates, and mentors – including Shaun Johnson, Stacey Jones, and Des Hasler – the series captures the personal journey behind the headlines, from breakout star to the challenging times, and then seasoned professional and community leader.
EPISODE 1 – THE MAKING
This episode introduces Kieran and his journey to the NRL, having to face adversity from a young age before debuting for the Manly Sea Eagles in 2009 as an 18-year-old. Making his Kiwis debut in his maiden year and then winning a premiership in 2011, things looked to be going swimmingly for Foran, who capped off his first six years in the top grade with an inspiring Four Nations win in 2014.
EPISODE 2 – THE FALL AND RESURRECTION
This episode reflects on Foran’s dark days – quitting rugby league in 2016 and battling mental health demons and addictions before returning home to New Zealand to make a stunning comeback after many thought he was done. Foran also shares his journey through injury including a horrid period from 2017-2020 before rebuilding his body to find a new lease of life in the twilight years of his career.
EPISODE 3 – THE LEGACY
This episode celebrates Foran’s legacy in the game, having joined the Gold Coast Titans in 2023 where he’s become an inspirational mental health advocate and community leader following the passing of his stepson Logan Steinwede. It also explores his love for family and friends, his teammates and his country – reminiscing on that remarkable Pacific Championships win against the Kangaroos. Plus, the episode includes the impact Foran’s had on rugby league ahead of his final NRL game and a new chapter ahead, venturing into coaching and the media.
