The Gold Coast’s Titans Together community programs have received a major boost thanks to the incredible generosity at the recent EMF gala dinner.
The inaugural event brought over 300 local business members, athletes and community leaders to celebrate fitness, wellbeing and giving back, with a total of $63,444 raised to support initiatives that empower young people and strengthen the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers communities.
The funds will go to support the operation and further growth of programs such as the Kinetic Titans Schools League, Leagueability and Deadly Futures initiatives.
Titans chair Dennis Watt is humbled by the incredible generosity for Titans Together.
"Community will always be at the heart of this club and as a club, we’re extremely grateful for the awe-inspiring donation we have received from this magnificent event," he said.
"Anyone who has been part of one of the many Titans Together programs that support inclusiveness, participation, belonging and cultural engagement would attest they are not just among the best in the NRL, but world-class.
"We’re also extremely proud of our partnership with EMF, who have always been great supporters of health, wellbeing and community - values that align perfectly with what Titans Together.
"We’re incredibly thankful for their support and we can’t wait to continue growing and delivering our programs that create a better life for the people of our community, driving change through the power of positive action."
EMF director Scott Freeman is thrilled their event will help the Titans Together programs continue to thrive.
