The Titans are proud to announce the launch of Try Time Tales, an exciting new initiative across Gold Coast, Logan, Scenic Rim and Northern Rivers schools to assist young students grasp the skills and concepts of rugby league.
The Prep-Year 2 program uses story-based learning alongside a physical activity session to help build on students’ fundamental movement skills, learning through active play and minor games in a fun and safe environment.
The introduction of Titans Try Time Tales will also further strengthen the club’s connection to the communities spanning from Logan to Lismore with NRL and NRLW players actively engaging directly with students through the delivery of the program.
Titans CEO Steve Mitchell said the initiative reflects the club’s ongoing commitment to unite and inspire the community.
"Titans Try Time Tales is all about our players being present in Gold Coast, Logan, Scenic Rim and Northern Rivers schools and helping our next generation learn through fun activities and games in a safe environment," he said.
"The genuine excitement young students get when they meet their NRL heroes is priceless and we’re proud we can harness this to foster positive learning habits and core skills at such a fundamental age.
"This community engagement is exactly the sort of impact we want to have as the Gold Coast’s team - supporting the next generation both on and off the field.
"Community is core to our purpose and it’s hugely important we continue our presence across our region.
"We’re offering the program free of charge to primary schools and already have eight schools booked in over the next few weeks, with many more to be confirmed with the initiative continuing through the backend of 2025 and into 2026."
Titans Try Time Tales kicked off on Thursday with Kurtis Morrin and Oliver Pascoe visiting Coomera State School, whilst Jaimin Jolliffe and Cooper Bai engaged with Coomera Springs State School.
Primary schools located within South East Queensland and the Northern Rivers region of NSW are encouraged to express their interest in hosting the program in 2026. A nominated school representative can submit an expression of interest here.
