Injury report: Bai cleared for Dolphins trial derby

Boom Titans rookie Cooper Bai has been given the green light for the upcoming trials after being cleared of concussion.

Undergoing the NRL's mandatory 11-day stand-down almost a fortnight ago, the newly-extended forward has passed all the requirements to return to play and is expected to be named for Gold Coast's first hit-out against the Dolphins.

AJ Brimson is also fully-fit and a certain starter for Round 1 after returning from International duties with an AC joint injury - the England No. 1 easing back to full contact across the pre-season.

Brock Gray is continuing his ACL rehab now nine months post surgery, anticipating a return to full training across the next month; whilst Jaimin Jolliffe had successful knee surgery after his ACL rupture and is currently in the non-weight bearing and wound healing stage of his recovery.
