Late mail: Titans unchanged as Hannay reveals game plan against Storm

The Titans will be unchanged for their major trial against the Melbourne Storm at Sunshine Coast Stadium with the visitors welcoming back several of their stars.

Captain Tino Fa'asuamaleaui headlines 10 fresh faces who were either rested or on representative duty for last week's 24-12 win against the Dolphins; alongside the likes of Keano Kini, AJ Brimson, Jayden Campbell and Beau Fermor who wear Gold Coast colours for the first time in 2026.

Titans coach Josh Hannay is hoping the first hour of the clash will be a genuine contest with the season opener now only a fortnight away.

"I want the first 50-60 minutes to feel like a competition game in terms of the interchanges we use and you'll see less bodies running on and off," he said.

"The last 20 minutes will be about giving the other guys some game time that I feel earned that second opportunity from last week. There were a number of good performers, so the backend of the game may look a little bit like last week.

"It's an audition for Round 1 down in Cronulla."

Kick-off is at 7.30pm* (AEST); live on Fox League and Kayo Sports.

*Kick-off delayed due to Roosters v Eels weather stoppage.
