Injury report: Campbell to miss Sharks opener with minor hamstring strain

Jayden Campbell will miss the club’s season opener against the Sharks after suffering a minor hamstring injury.

Scans have revealed a low-grade strain for the playmaker, which will sideline him for the next two-to-four weeks with club medicos opting to take a precautionary approach given the full season of fixtures ahead.

Josh Patston has been cleared to return after suffering a failed HIA against the Storm in the Titans' major trial a fortnight ago, allowing the edge forward to be available for Round 1 selection.

In further good news, Brock Gray is nearing a return to full contact training after rupturing his ACL last season, re-joining the main group ten months post surgery.
