Powerhouse prop Te Ngaroahiahi Fanua Awhina Rimoni will bolster Karyn Murphy's forward pack for the 2026 season, promoted to the Titans' top 24 after turning heads during the early pre-season.
Originally from New Zealand, the 18-year-old made the move down the M1 from the Norths Devils after 12 games of BMD Premiership last year, starting in every appearance and averaging 144 running metres and 24 tackles over 61 minutes per game.
Initially signed as a development player, Rimoni has excelled in the early sessions of pre-season training to earn an elevation to Gold Coast's top squad and a chance to make her NRLW debut when the campaign kicks off later this year.
"Fanua has been extremely impressive across all our NRLW sessions to start the year and is thoroughly deserved to be promoted to our top 24 squad,"
"She's stood out and held her own in the middle against other players in her position at training and is such a strong and powerful athlete with a durable engine that allows her to play big minutes up front.
"I'm really looking forward to watching her continue to develop in our squad, especially with the opportunity to learn from the likes of experienced representative middle forwards Jessika Elliston and Georgia Hale."
