NRL 2026: Titans, Injury report: Simpkins suffers knee injury

Tukimihia Simpkins is set for a stint on the sidelines after suffering a MCL knee injury in the Hostplus Cup at the weekend.

Taken from the field in the 15th minute representing the Ipswich Jets in Brisbane, scans have revealed the forward will miss the next six-to-eight weeks - the only injury to be sustained across both NRL and Cup fixtures.

Josh Patston will also be unavailable due to suspension, missing the next two matches after a Dangerous Throw charge playing for the Jets.
