Round 1 team: Titans train-and-triallists headline NRLQ season opener local derby

The NRLQ Under 21s season will kick-off with an epic local derby between the Titans and Broncos to prelude the blockbuster NRL clash at Cbus Super Stadium on Saturday evening.

An extended competition in 2026, this year's fixture will feature a 12-round home-and-away round robin competition between the Broncos, Cowboys, Dolphins and Titans; before the top two teams face off in a grand final.

Facing off against Brisbane, a raft of players return to the NRLQ arena this season with the side captained by Isaac Harrison - twin brother of NRL playmaker Zane Harrison.

This weekend's team also includes some NRL pre-season experience with Jhett Sydir and Bodhi Sharpley both training under Josh Hannay during the summer and featuring in Gold Coast's first trial of the season against the Dolphins.

Kick-off is at 4.05pm (AEST) on Saturday at Cbus Super Stadium, Gold Coast.
