Locked in: De Groot en route to Wahs battle with Brimson, Randall ruled out

Energetic young gun Jaylan De Groot will make his season debut in New Zealand with AJ Brimson to miss the Titans' clash against the Warriors due to family reasons.

The Gold Coast outside back has remained in Australia for the birth of his second child, opening the door for the 22-year-old to be injected into the centres for his first NRL game of 2026.

In other team changes, Chris Randall has also been ruled out with a minor calf complaint - the versatile forward is only expected to miss this weekend's clash and will be back to face the Raiders in Round 9 after next week's bye.

Klese Haas has been promoted to start after being passed fit to return after a minor leg injury, lining up for his fourth game in New Zealand having won all three of his past games across the ditch; whilst Josh Patston comes into the 19-man squad alongside Zane Harrison with De Groot and Haas' promotion to the starting side.

Kick-off is at 5pm (NZT) on Saturday at Go Media Stadium, Auckland.
