Dozen Future Titans to star in City v Country showdowns

The Titans continue to have strong junior rugby league representation with 12 pathways prospects in action on Sunday in the QRL's City v Country Under 17 showdown.

With both boys and girls in action at Burleigh's UAA Park, the squads were selected following the completion of the hotly-contested Harvey Norman Under 17 (female) and Cyril Connell Cup (male) seasons, which culminated with grand finals last weekend.

These finals, along with the Harvey Norman Under 19 decider saw 24 Future Titans take centre stage across the three games - highlighting the depth of emerging talent within the club’s development system.

Among the names representing the club include Fynn Laffranchi, who recently inked a long-term deal till the end of 2030 to follow in the footsteps of his father Anthony, a foundation Titan who made 102 appearances on the Gold Coast.

Kick-off for the girls' clash is at 11.15am, followed by the boys' battle at 12.35pm.
