Promising forward Keira Rangi has been rewarded for her hard work and determination, securing a development contract with the Titans NRLW squad.
Elevated from the club’s pathway system and a representative of the Cook Islands in the Pacific Nations, the powerful back rower has built a reputation for her defensive strength and damaging ball carries on the edge.
After topping the Harvey Norman Under 19s competition for the Souths Logan Magpies with 13 tries in just seven games - including a four-try performance in a single match - it’s no surprise her toughness caught the eye of Titans NRLW coach Karyn Murphy.
“We have seen how Keira has grown so much as a player and, especially with her being so young, this is an important part of her journey,” Murphy said.
“The development program allows young players to not only learn from experienced players but also understand the standards.
“She has a bright future ahead of her and we are really looking forward to helping her reach her full potential.”
Rangi is excited to step into the next chapter of her rugby league career, joining the Titans NRLW squad ahead of the upcoming season.
With plenty of upside, she shapes as an exciting prospect for the future on the Gold Coast.
