It’s a night of milestones for our Titans stars as Game I of the Ampol Women’s State of Origin series gets underway at McDonald Jones Stadium.
The Gold Coast Titans NRLW squad is strongly represented, with experienced trio Lauren Brown, Jessika Elliston and Sienna Lofipo leading the way for the Maroons, alongside exciting newcomers Phoenix-Raine Hippi and Ivana Lolesio.
Titans strike weapon Jaime Chapman will line up on the wing for the Westpac NSW Blues, following a standout showing in last year’s series victory.
The Titans players to watch
Ivana Lolesio
A childhood dream becomes reality for Ivana Lolesio, with the Titans’ 2025 NRLW Rookie of the Year named in the centres for her Origin debut.
It's been a rollercoaster journey for the 21-year-old since joining the Titans in 2024, having been sidelined by a devastating knee injury before the season began.
Following a determined road to recovery, Lolesio finally donned the Titans colours in Round 1 of 2025, going on to cement her place in the starting 13 for every game of the season.
Having now secured her start in the maroon jersey, the young gun is prepared to embody the Queensland spirit, making her a key player to watch.
Lauren Brown
Named Queensland vice-captain for the upcoming series, Lauren Brown is set to reach her 10th appearance for her respective state - a milestone six years in the making.
A growing leader within the squad, the 31-year-old has earned a reputation for her composure on and off the field, along with a knack for delivering in match-winning moments on the big stage.
The star playmaker looms as a key figure for Queensland as they chase a third straight win over the Blues at McDonald Jones Stadium.
Phoenix-Raine Hippi
It’s been a breakout campaign for Phoenix-Raine Hippi, fast-tracking her rise with milestones many spend years chasing.
In under 12 months, the Gold Coast Titans wing sensation has gone from Under 19s Origin to an NRLW debut, PM’s XIII honours, Indigenous All Stars representation, and now a Maroons debut.
