Jojo Fifita will make his Queensland Maroons debut on the wing, joining Tino Fa'asuamaleaui as the Titans reps to play in the Origin series opener on Wednesday, May 27.
The 23-year-old has been one of Gold Coast's best this season as the current leading try-scorer for the club at right centre and gets his chance to make his state proud, having previously played for Queensland in the Under 19 Origin clash in 2022.
He is one of four players who are set to make their debut on Wednesday week.
Fa'asuamaleaui has been named to start in the front row as he prepares for his 16th Origin game - now a staple of the Maroons team since 2020.
The duo will miss the Titans' Round 12 clash against the Sea Eagles whilst in Origin camp preparing for Game I to be played in Sydney.
