Queensland Origin duo Jess Elliston and Sienna Lofipo will run out at home on Thursday night with extra pride after inking fresh contract extensions to remain as Titans until the end of 2028.
Currently in Camp Maroon finalising preparations for Game III at Cbus Super Stadium, the pair are two of the competition’s elite forwards and have been pillars of Gold Coast’s NRLW program since their club debuts.
Elliston joined the Titans ahead of the inaugural 2021 season and has featured in every game since the club’s inception, developing into one of the game’s most consistent and damaging forwards.
A Jillaroo since 2023 and about to make her 13th Origin appearance, the 28-year-old has played a vital role in establishing the Titans as a premiership contender through her strong carries, defensive resilience and leadership qualities.
Lofipo joined Karyn Murphy’s squad in 2023 after graduating from the club’s Future Titans program and has quickly emerged as one of the NRLW’s rising forwards after making the switch from the halves.
The 21-year-old earned her Queensland debut in 2024 and has continued to elevate her game with her impact through the middle of the field and relentless work ethic.
Murphy said retaining both players was an important outcome for the club’s future.
"Jess and Sienna are exactly the type of players we want leading our program over the coming years," the Titans coach said.
"They’re tough, competitive and incredibly committed to the standards we continue to build here at the Titans.
"Jess is a foundation player for our club and continues to set the tone with her professionalism, consistency and durability every day. Her experience is invaluable for our group and it’s an incredible feat to have played in every game for the Titans since our program was born.
"Sienna has had a tremendous impact since progressing through our pathways to the NRLW. One of her greatest assets is her ability to ball-play, but she also brings enormous energy and physicality to our forward pack and has such a bright future in the game, given she is still only in the early years of her career.
"What excites me most is the influence both players have on the wider group. They genuinely care about the club, they lead through their actions and they’re passionate about helping us achieve long-term success.
"To have both Jess and Sienna commit through until the end of 2028 is a huge boost for our club and I know they will represent our state with pride on Thursday night, before returning to the Titans to continue preparations for the season ahead."
