Round 4 team: Powerful pathways product to debut in Queensland derby
Rising prop Eta Sikahele lines up to make her NRLW debut against the Cowboys in Townsville this Saturday, hoping for a flying start off the bench to mark her maiden appearance in the Titans' forward pack.
A proud product of the Titans' development pathways, the 18-year-old powerhouse becomes the latest academy graduate to earn a NRLW opportunity, rewarded for her steady rise through the club's elite female program.
Sikahele's inclusion headlines a handful of forced changes for the trip north, with Sarina Masaga elevated to the centres after storming into last week's contest for winger Georgia Grey, who has been ruled out for the next month due to a fractured finger.
The change sees Phoenix-Raine Hippi return to the wing as a dangerous edge threat alongside fellow young gun Indie Bostock.
Up front, powerhouse prop Laikha Clarke will continue clock-up impressive running metres and again be supported by rising forward Fanua Rimoni and newly-promoted back-rower Evania Isa'ako in an unchanged forward pack.
The Titans will be chasing their third consecutive victory and their first in North Queensland when they take on the Cowboys in their home arena.
Kick-off is at 5.15pm on Saturday at Queensland Country Bank Stadium, Townsville.
