NRL 2026: Titans, Locked in: Hannay confirms Ilias' halves return

Titans coach Josh Hannay has confirmed Lachlan Ilias will make his halves return as Gold Coast travel to Newcastle to face the Knights on Sunday afternoon.

Choosing to pair AJ Brimson with Jayden Campbell for his side's short-turnaround clash against the Cowboys last Thursday, Hannay has given the nod for Ilias to return to his familiar No. 7 role following Zane Harrison's season-ending hamstring injury.

Gold Coast have kept their squad unchanged heading into the Indigenous Round clash, aiming to avenge their Magic Round loss to the Knights earlier in the year.

Kick-off is at 2pm on Sunday at McDonald Jones Stadium, Newcastle.
