Late mail: Ieremia ruled out, De Groot to start in Newcastle
Jaylan De Groot will start on the wing against the team he debuted against two years ago, replacing Dean Ieremia who has been ruled out of the Titans' Knights clash with a hamstring injury.
The 23-year-old remains part of the back five in his eighth NRL appearance of the season after playing left centre last week - AJ Brimson returning to that role with Lachlan Ilias to come into the halves for the first time since Round 9.
The remainder of Josh Hannay's team remains unchanged with Siale Faeamani elevated to the six-man bench to cover De Groot's promotion - his side eyeing back-to-back wins at McDonald Jones Stadium after defeating the Knights in the corresponding fixture last season.
Eager to also avenge their Magic Round loss to Newcastle earlier in the season, the team is bolstered by debutant Bodhi Sharpley, who will make his maiden NRL appearance via the bench after graduating from Gold Coast's pathways to the full-time squad earlier this year.
In week two of Indigenous Round, the Titans will again wear a specially-designed jersey by local artist Christine Slabb, showcasing the club's connection to country, community, culture and each other.
