Titans star Jaime Chapman has continued to be a community leader across the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers regions, recognised in the 2026 NRLW Community Team of the Year and shortlisted for the prestigious Veronica White Medal.
The 24-year-old's impact extends far beyond her achievements on the field, consistently supporting and empowering others to create positive change throughout the community.
Her commitment was highlighted through her life-changing support of a young junior rugby league player in crisis recently, helping connect the young person with professional services while continuing to provide encouragement throughout her recovery.
Her community involvement also extends across several of the Titans' community initiatives; including Leagueability, Indigenous and cultural programs, school visits and community events - using her profile with warmth, humility and authenticity to make a lasting difference.
She is also a passionate advocate for the growth of the women’s game, regularly attending junior clinics to inspire the next generation of female players.
Chapman nominated for 2026 Veronica White Medal
For Chapman, being recognised in the Community Team of the Year for the third consecutive season is a reflection of what rugby league means to her and the opportunity it provides to positively influence the lives of others.
"I love my community," she said.
"Rugby league is more than just a game to me and to be given an opportunity to be that role model for all people in the community and be someone positive in their life, it's something I'll never take for granted.
"Football brings people together and communities together, it saves lives and it definitely saved my own life. When I'm able to put smiles on other people's faces and hopefully brightening their day, it actually benefits me more than what they get out of it."
Eligible for the Veronica White Medal through her selection in the Community Team of the Year, the 2026 fan vote is now open and will close at 5pm on Monday, August 31.
