The Titans will farewell five players at the completion of the 2026 season, including the club’s recently crowned all-time try-scorer Phil Sami who will take up a new NRL opportunity with the Dragons next year.
Sami will lace up the boots for his 166th appearance in Gold Coast colours against the Dolphins on Friday, joining fellow departee Sam Verrills who has been named on the interchange for Friday’s XXXX Derby after playing 68 games for the club.
Jaimin Jolliffe will link up with former Titans assistant coach Jim Lenihan in the English Super League, joining the Huddersfield Giants from next season after 102 games across seven seasons at Parkwood, whilst Allan Fitzgibbon and Tukimihia Simpkins will also conclude their time after the pair joined in 2025.
Titans CEO Steve Mitchell extended his thanks for their time as Titans.
"On behalf of everyone at the Gold Coast Titans, I’d like to sincerely thank these five men for their service and contribution to our club over their respective years," Mitchell said.
"Each of them has played an important role within our organisation and can be proud of the impact they have made during their time as Titans.
"We wish them and their families every success and happiness for the next chapter of their lives, and they will always be welcomed back as valued members of our past players family."
The quintet will be acknowledged pre-game of Friday's Dolphins derby, ahead of being further recognised at the club's season awards night at the end of September.
