The Gold Coast Titans will take on the Brisbane Broncos in this week's NRLW Preliminary Final, with fans encouraged to get behind the special 50-50 raffle supporting Jeniekah, a young girl from Grafton who is continuing her fight against cancer.
Jeniekah was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma earlier this year, and, after her cancer did not respond to chemotherapy as hoped, she underwent an urgent leg amputation and still faces many months of treatment, hospital stays and rehabilitation.
Members of the Titans NRLW team recently had the opportunity to spend time with Jeniekah and her family at one of the club's games, welcoming them into the sheds to meet with players post-game.
The experience was incredibly meaningful for everyone involved, and this week's 50-50 raffle provides the Titans community with another opportunity to show their support.
Grafton Helping Hands Incorporated will be the beneficiary of the raffle, with funds raised specifically directed towards supporting Jeniekah and her family.
The money will help with the significant costs that come with Jeniekah's ongoing treatment, including travel to and from medical appointments, accommodation and meals when the family is away from home, day-to-day expenses, rehabilitation and future prosthetic needs.
