Magnus Health Ball delivers $150,000 boost for community

It was a night of generosity and lasting impact across the Gold Coast.

The 2026 Magnus Health Ball raised an incredible $150,000 for three local charities, with Titans Together, 10 Cent Tom and The Carers Foundation Australia each receiving $50,000 to support their work in the community.

Hosted by Gold Coast disability support provider Magnus Health, the annual ball has become one of the biggest nights on the city’s charity calendar, bringing together local businesses, community leaders and supporters for an evening of celebration and giving.

This year’s event was held at the Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Main Beach, in August, where guests enjoyed live music, a fashion show and a charity auction packed with jewellery, artwork and experiences, all hosted by radio favourite Sean “Flan” Flannagan.

Titans Together was proud to be named one of the night’s three beneficiaries, with Magnus Health shining a light on the foundation’s Leagueability and Deadly Futures programs in particular as it shared the club’s community work with guests.

The flagship Leagueability program was represented on the night by players Ethan Sloane and Brooke Langeveld, alongside coach and former player Dean Clark, who helped guests see first-hand what the program means to its participants.

Meanwhile, the support continued well after the final auction item was sold, with an appreciation event and cheque handover held at Parkwood Village on Wednesday 2 September.

The afternoon recognised the guests, sponsors, prize donors and supporters whose generosity made the ball such a success.

Titans Together’s Renee Cohen said the donation would make a real difference for the people the foundation works with.

“This donation means more people across our community will get the chance to pull on a jersey, be part of a team and feel like they belong,” she said.

“Programs like Leagueability and Deadly Futures are all about creating opportunities to participate and connect, and support like this helps us keep them going and growing.

“The funds will go directly into our community programs, helping us reach more people and deliver more opportunities across the region.”

Cohen also thanked everyone involved in the ball.

“We’re incredibly grateful to the Magnus Health team, and to every sponsor, donor and guest who gave so generously,” she said.

“Nights like this show what the Gold Coast community can achieve when it comes together.”

Titans Together thanks Magnus Health, the event sponsors, prize donors and every guest for their support, and congratulates 10 Cent Tom and The Carers Foundation Australia as fellow beneficiaries.
