The Titans have been advised by Cooper Bai’s management that he will not extend his contract on the Gold Coast beyond the 2027 season.
The club has subsequently granted Bai’s management permission to negotiate with other clubs for the 2028 season ahead of November. Bai remains contracted to the Titans for 2027.
Head coach Josh Hannay said the club remained excited about the young forward talent developing within its system.
“We have some outstanding young middle forwards coming through, including Bodhi Sharpley, Viliami Fifita and Torino Jackson, who we believe can become key members of our squad in the coming seasons,” Hannay said.
“Cooper has grown a lot as a player and a person over the past 12 months, and we’re proud to have played a part in supporting his development.”
