Titans unveil 20 years logo with new kit paying homage to 2007 season

The Gold Coast Titans have officially launched their 20-year anniversary logo and 2027 home jersey as pre-season preparations get underway for the club's milestone season celebrating two decades.

Bringing together generations of Titans at Cbus Super Stadium on Thursday morning, foundation players Preston Campbell OAM and Anthony Laffranchi joined current NRL players Zane Harrison and Moeaki Fotuaika alongside NRLW stars Jess Elliston and Georgia Grey to unveil the fresh playing kit.

The new colours - designed in collaboration with apparel partner Dynasty Sport - pays tribute to the 2007 Titans and the original jersey they wore in the club's inaugural season, reborn for a new era by recreating its distinctive look whilst incorporating modern jersey design.

For Harrison, who grew up in the region supporting the Titans and has always wanted to represent the club, the playing kit carries a special connection.

Having only ever known the Titans, the young halfback represents a new generation of players who grew up watching the club, dreaming of wearing its colours and now have the opportunity to help shape its future.

It's a fitting connection between the Gold Coast franchise's inaugural playing group and the next generation who will carry the Titans forward into their third decade.

The original jersey was famously worn by Campbell and Laffranchi; alongside inaugural captains Scott Prince and Luke Bailey together with the foundation playing group as the Titans began their NRL story in 2007.

Now, 20 years on, a new generation will wear the familiar design as the club celebrates the history, people and moments that have helped shape it.

Titans CEO Steve Mitchell said the launch was an important first step in recognising the club's milestone anniversary.

"Twenty years is a significant milestone for our club and something we want to celebrate with everyone who has played a part in making the Gold Coast Titans what they are today," he said.

"When you look back to 2007, there were a lot of people who helped bring this club to life; from the foundation players and staff through to our members, supporters, partners and the wider Gold Coast community.

"The new jersey is a great way to acknowledge where we started, the journey this club has taken over the past two decades and looking ahead to the next generation of Titans who will wear it with pride.

"We have a big year planned for 2027; kickstarting in Las Vegas against the Eels, before we return home to Cbus Super Stadium in front our loyal Legion here on the Coast.

"The celebrations will also include a 20-year team announcement, giving members and fans the opportunity to vote for their favourite players who have made the greatest contributions to our club over the past two decades.

"Among a host of other 20-year events in the calendar include a special gala evening, game day celebrations and plenty more.

"Our 20th anniversary is all about recognising our history, celebrating the people who have been part of it and creating something special for the next generation of Titans."

Emblazoned on the new jersey and across all 2027 merchandise is the club's anniversary logo, featuring the iconic Titans helmet in a commemorative 20-year design.

The new insignia also incorporates a subtle connection to the club's home, with the zero in the number 20 reflecting the shape and proportions of Cbus Super Stadium.

The 2027 Gold Coast Titans home jersey is available now from the Titans Shop, with first orders shipping from Wednesday, November 11.

All commercial partners (The Lottery Office, outsource Financial, EMF, Hannay Criminal Defence and AVS Security) return with the one update coming from Village Roadshow Theme Parks, proudly representing their Movie World brand in 2027.
