Nate Myles had his trademark beard shaved off in Queen St Mall today, to raise funds for the endangered bilbies.

The Australian King of Hair, Stefan was on hand to help Nate farewell his prized beard and assisted in the cut for conservation.

One of the first things Nate said with fresh air touching his face for the first time for many months was: "It feels like someone turned the air-conditioning on!"

Bilbies are under severe threat, with only an estimated 400 to 600 of the critically endangered species left in Queensland. As an ambassador for RSPCA, Nate has a love of all animals and pledged to shave off his beloved beard to raise money for the ‘Save the Bilby Fund’.

You can help Nate to save the bilby and reach his goal of raising $5,000 by donating via the link below.
