Former Warriors Matt Robinson and Mark Ioane have been called into an 18-man squad for Saturday’s ANZAC Day clash in Auckland against the Warriors.

Eddy Pettybourne also returns from a one-week suspension which is timely with Ryan Simpkins (knee), another former Warrior Agnatius Paasi (foot) and Dave Taylor (suspended) all missing from the pack.

Robinson and Ioane played in the Warriors’ grand final winning under-20s team with Warriors current halfback Shaun Johnson in 2010. Both come onto an extended bench with Lachlan Burr moving into the starting line-up in Taylor’s No. 12 jersey.

Paasi will hopefully miss this match and return for round nine after the representative round weekend. Daniel Mortimer is still sidelined with a wrist injury.
