It will be a new-look Ryan James who leads the Titans out onto Cbus Super Stadium on Sunday after having his signature long locks, untouched since he was 16, cut short today.

It was in in the name of cleaning up his look for his upcoming wedding to Ana, his childhood sweetheart, and to pay tribute to 13-year-old Harrison Wheatley who stole Ryan's heart at a recent match.

We spoke with Becky Bird, who did the hairdressing honours, Ryan's mother Terri Lee and fiancee Ana about their reactions too.

More than $6500 has been raised for the Starlight Foundation through wheelchair-bound Harrison's fund-raising effort around his pledge to walk 1km this Sunday in the City 2 south fun run in Brisbane.
