Injury Update - Finals week one
Titans are in an envious position heading into week one of the finals with coach Neil Henry having a near full squad to choose from.
Twenty nine players took the field in today's open training session at Cbus Super Stadium, showing what good shape the Titans are in after a long, tough season..
Anthony Don, who missed the clash with the Cowboys with a hip flexor problem, has recovered and has been selected in an extended squad for Friday’s elimination semi-final with the Broncos.
Other players who had been missing for long periods, Daniel Mortimer; Kierran Moseley and Kane Elgey, have trained strongly while David Shillington (knee) is close to being fit.
Jeff Lynch will be missing from Titans’ feeder club Burleigh Bears’ preliminary final against Redcliffe this Sunday.
He suffered a grade 2 MCL strain but is hopeful of a grand final return a fortnight later if the Bears make it to the season finale.
