Titans centre Josh Hoffman has today been released from the final year of his contract with the club to take up a three-year deal with the Parramatta Eels.
The 28-year-old Kiwi international has played every Titans match (49) since he joined the club in 2015. Hoffman said he thoroughly enjoyed his time on the Gold Coast but was excited about the opportunity to secure a three-year future with the new deal.
“Thanks to the club for giving me an opportunity to play on the Gold Coast for two years with a great bunch of teammates,” Hoffman said today.
“It was unfortunate how the season ended for us against Brisbane but the future is looking great for the club moving forward and I wish the Titans the very best.
"I want to thank the members and fans for their support, I really enjoyed the rapport the team has with the fans. And to all the boys; it was a pleasure to play alongside such a great bunch of blokes and such committed and tough players.”
The Aquis Gold Coast Titans thank Josh for his contributions in his two seasons here and wish him well in the future.
“I would like to thank Josh for his contribution to the club over the last two seasons. He proved a durable and versatile player and certainly contributed to the improvement in our team. I would like to wish him all the best in the next phase of his football career” said Aquis Titans head coach Neil Henry.
