Daniel Mortimer has penned a farewell to Aquis Gold Coast Titans fans via social media upon his announcement that he is leaving the club.

The 27-year old who debuted for the Titans vs the Dragons in Rnd 15, 2014 - played 35 matches for the Titans between 2014-2016, crossing for one try and kicking three conversions.

In 2015 Mortimer represented the Prime Minister's XIII against Papua New Guinea, playing off the interchange bench in his team's 40-12 win.

Mortimer was named captain for the Titans 2016 Auckland Nines squad.

On Instagram this morning, Mortimer wrote "Just want to say a quick thank you to all the staff players and fans at the @gctitans for making my time on the GC so damn enjoyable. Ready and excited for the next chapter at the Sharkies."
