Hooker Nathan Peats has today explained that the side need to trust the systems that have been put in place by Coach Garth Brennan and not stray into old habits.

The side were put through their paces at the TFH High Performance Centre with defence the name of the game.

"It was our main day a few days before game day and we did a lot of contact stuff, we really ripped in," Peats said.

"It was a disappointing performance, we can't shy away from that. We stepped away from our systems and there were a lot of one on one errors.

"It a new defensive system, it's going to take time but a lot of the errors are fundamental and we're first grade footballers so we really should be making those tackles."
