Captain Ryan James has taken NRL Indigenous Round beyond the top grade with his junior club, Bilambil Jets, sporting their very own Indigenous Round jerseys which James himself contributed to.

The Bilambil Jets is all that James knew growing up and with his parents still involved at the club, the local junior thought it would be a great idea for all to be involved.

It's a significant round at NRL level and James thought it is something that everyone should be able to be part of.

"I was very lucky to be brought up at this club and it's a very much a community club," James said.

"It's always great to come down. They come and support me so I like to come down when I can."

"It's just a little bit of money and they get to be part of Indigenous Round as well."
