Ryley Jacks has been called up to make his Titans debut on Saturday, after the new recruit was named at halfback for the Gold Coast’s Round 2 clash with Cronulla in Sydney.

Jacks, 26, made the move north from the Melbourne Storm in the off-season, and has been injected into the starting side after injury forced both Tyrone Roberts (achilles) and Ash Taylor (quadriceps) out of contention.

Jacks will form a new-look halves combination for the Titans, with five-eighth AJ Brimson named at No.6 after being a late call-up to the starting team against Canberra last Sunday.

In other changes to last week’s team, Anthony Don returns to the Titans starting side as a reward for his excellent form for Burleigh Bears in the Intrust Super Cup last weekend.

Don replaces Phillip Sami, who moves back to the interchange bench against the Sharks.

Centre Dale Copley drops out of the 17 with a recurrence of the calf complaint that hampered his pre-season.
